John L. Hadlock received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971 from Brigham Young University. He has had extensive training in anatomy and art through University, Apprenticeship and Associate courses, many of which were provided by the American Society of Ocularists. John is a Board Approved Diplomat Ocularist having 30 years of experience in the field of Ocularistry. John has 7 children and resides with his wife and family in Mesa, Arizona.

Starla Starla is an apprentice in our office. She is in her 4th year of her apprenticeship and will soon become a certified Ocularist. She and her husband reside in Mesa.

Karen is our maxillofacial technician with 26 years experience. She completed her training at M.D. Anderson Hospital & Tumor Institute in Houston, TX in 1979.

Rose is our office manager. She responds to our patient’s needs with regard to insurance issues and questions. She will do her best to assist you in researching your insurance benefits and contacting your insurance company to determine an estimate of your financial responsibility. She will let you know which plans need referrals from your primary physician and do her best to assist you in obtaining any authorizations that may be necessary. Patients and their families are welcome to seek her assistance with insurance and billing questions.

Michelle is our Public Relations Administrator. Michelle has been working in the Prosthetics business for 8 years. She personally visits all of our local Ophthalmologist’s and is available to give in-services for any of our ancillary providers’ offices. Michelle takes a personal interest in educating our ancillary providers about ocular prosthetics and patient care. She is always available to listen to our patients or referring doctors and to provide answers about our practice.
